Just been catching up... Great stuff! I've a mundane question: I'm intrigued to know is "like a plastic duck with it's beak kicked in" a colloquial expression or did you make it up?
It's an allusion to an actor from Home & Away, some considerable number of years ago who - according to our nipper - had a face like a rubber duck after it's been trodden on - hence forward to be known as rubber ducky man. SO the phrase is made up - by my brother - I cannot take all the credit! There are loads of family sayings I'm itching to use :)
Yes and no. Mostly they just tempt me to scribble! But often it's quite zen doing lots of slow and careful lines. People keep telling me how quick and cleaner looking it would be to scan and fill on paint.net - NEVER - I LOVE drawing (and good old fashioned colouring in)!

Just cool. (Surely these black pages are a lot of hard work.)
